1.first find a theme for ur logo...
2. get drawing paper a pencil a thin point pen and a scanner.
3. start drawing ur logo with the pencil.
3.2. since its ur first draw single letters apart from on another(do not draw it as 1 single img).
4. after ur done with that then take ur work and scan.
5.open photoshop and open ur scan.
6.click the magic wand tool and erase the white BG of the paper.
7. Now open a new file perferabley a large size i.e. 900x910 or something close to that.
8. use the lasso tool and cut the letters from the scan onto ur New file.
9. put each letter on a separate layer.
10. add a new layer and apply image.
11. now change the hue to black.
12. now add effects such as emboss and strokes to ur hearts content but make sure ur final product isnt over done.


thats the beginner's way to do it. Soon after alot of practice u'll be able to use the pen tool like I do. I do them both by hand and pentool. I personally prefer by hand since I get annoyed at the pen tool. Any more questions hit me up and I'll be glad to clarify...
